My name is actually Mateus Pinheiro, but most friends know me by my last name.
I have been designing and making digital prodcucts for the past 14 years, and in the last 4 lead teams that do that. I loved every moment so far.
I'm 30 years old, married, and have 3 wonderful dogs. I was born and raised in Campinas, and it's my favorite place on earth.
Running is my sport of choice, and I do it with no music or apps. I just run. It's a kind of meditation, a time to be present. I also love to cook, and do it much the same way.
I also draw and take photos. It's how I express my creativity and let the subconscious roam free. I don't want to control or make anything else with it. Pen to the paper, finger to the shutter, and let it go.

Before that...
I began coding at 13, under my father's guidance. I was a Java development intern, mostly learning how to code and helping where I could. I also worked for a couple months as a graphic designer for a printing company, but I figured out I liked digital way more than print. Then I made some websites as a freelancer, which landed me my first design job.
You won't find me active on social media. My life improved so much after leaving it that I have no plans on coming back. But I also love meeting new people.
